• MBB, Messerschmitt – Bolkow - Blohm dates back to the 1920’s. The company was one of the pioneering German aviation firms and manufactured airplanes and helicopters. The world’s first helicopter FW-61 was designed in 1931 and flown at what today is part of our current factory.

• MBB was part of the Airbus Division of Daimler Benz until 1996 when it was sold to a group of private investors. MBB Technology, Natexis Industrie and Finatem are the majority shareholders.

• Today MBB sells in over 40 countries worldwide and is one of the largest manufacturers of liftgates in the world.

• MBB/Interlift built its reputation in offering a high quality engineered and manufactured product.

• MBB/Interlift enhanced the Cantilever & Large Platform Level Ride Fold-Under market in the USA with innovative products. MBB/Interlift also introduced an Under-Slider model liftgate that provides customers with a large platform, high lifting capacity and auto-leveling gate that is useable with swing or overhead door applications.
